Two things: I love summer. AND. I love pretty, viagra usa medicine quirky manicures. Which makes this post perfect because it’s about fun and easy nails for your summertime pleasure! I don’t know about you guys, buy cialis buy viagra but I am little obsessed with nail polish, and all the ways you can paint your digits. True story: in grade five I was granted the award titled ‘Best Nail Polish of the Year’ for our end of year awards from the teacher. So cute of the teacher to make an award for me, and also so funny because I clearly didn’t do anything academically great. Oh well. At least I had nice nails ;)

So in the spirit of my grade 5 achieving self, here are two ways you can decorate your nails quickly and without worrying about ANY kind of skill level.

First Style: A marble (like) nail.

To be honest, I recently had a shellac manicure done so this was even easier for me to do because I already had colour on! But if you don’t have a shellac manicure, do not fret! Paint your nails any colour you’d like and allow for the normal amount of time for the base colour to set.

Then prep a small dish filled with water, get a toothpick or something pokey (I didn’t have a toothpick so I used a weird tool) and a couple contrasting nail polish colours and set up a sort of station to work at. Make sure everything is close by because once the nail polish is in the water, you’ve gotta work fast!

Once you’re all prepped, pour a small amount of polish into the water, and pour your second colour directly after. Quickly stir the two colours around with your stick to create a marble look.

Then dip each nail onto the surface of the water. Again, try to do this as quickly as possible so the polish doesn’t dry up and get weird in the water. After you’ve dipped them all, your fingers will be covered in the polish. Not a great look, but kinda cool?

After the polish has had a few moments to set, use a q-tip dipped in nail polish remover to clean up your skin. Finally, cover your marble effect with a top coat, and voila! You have quirky, fun summer nails :)))

Second Style: Colour Block

Okay, this one is SOOOO easy. After you have a base colour, simply swipe a stripe up your nail. You could do it all the way from the bottom to the top, or like I did, you can start the swipe a little bit above the bottom of the nail. Then finish it off with top coat.

Boom! Done and done. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on this style as the coloured stripe really pops!

Yay for fun and easy summer manicures. I hope you all get around to painting your nails this weekend, it’s too hot to do anything else anyways, so you may as well have pretty nails to stare at while laying on the floor trying to beat the heat!
