Hey guys, viagra sales remember blogging? Well, we don’t – clearly. But thanks for understanding that life gets crazy sometimes. Now, I know you’ve all seen Christmas stockings made of old sweaters…so instead going through the step-by-step instructions, I’ll just show you my finished product! My secret weapon includes a glue gun and Vancouver’s own, Dressew. If you live in Vancouver and haven’t been to Dressew yet, then stop reading this post, grab your wallet and head there immediately. It’ll make you go ???. It’s seriously a crafter’s nirvana. I loaded up on trims and bits and then basically just hot glued it all on. Easy peasy.
Watch out for sneaky little pom-pom stealing fingers!
And here’s how it turned out! I LOVE love love it! I can’t wait to see Felix open it on Christmas day. Oh, and don’t worry, I won’t put cedar sprigs in his stocking – it just made for a pretty picture, ok?
I’m quite fond of the stitch I used around the edge of the stocking. It’s called a blanket stitch. There’s so many different types of stitches- maybe look them up and use your favourite! I also attached some tassels – you can find out how to make them from here.
Felix thinks it’s pretty great, too. But you gotta wait til Christmas morning to see what’s inside, ya little goon!
If you need a good tutorial for making the stocking, then try Treasure and Travels’. I hope you guys are having a fun and crafty December! And if my stocking inspires you to make one of your own, I’d LOVE to see it – just tag us on Instagram!
Peace and Love,
